The first compilation
about stone rock by the mainstream metal label includes European
and American bands , but missing bands from south Latin America and
Asia , opening with the 18ad by Q.o.t.s.a and first period heavy
alternative song close to lately Kyuss stuff (a blasting start up)
and the pioneers K2b and Fu Manchu follow-up .The
compilations includes a line up pictures and contact
addresses for promoting the bands and was a move from roadrunner to
put the stone rock more to mainstream paths ,however the
compositions of the band are missing important bands from stoner /
doom scenes like Japan and Argentina .Definitely we can say that
release may be the headliners of the stone rock compilations .

, the only that i a have against is that do not includes
many unreleased tracks .Starting with Kyuss and close to
35007 take all the phase of the best stoner
bands in Europe and United states .The collection not
represents only the best bands but maybe the greatest
moments of the bands like Sleep Dragonaut and
Shine ex Spirit Caravan Lost Sun Dance .Gatefold
cover includes pictures of the bands , and big paragraph
written by Cathedral s Lee Dorian explaining the connection
about heavy stoner rock with 70's . |
