Eggnogg -Moments in Vacuum CD

Review
Eggnog (possible take the idea of the name by the Melvins-Eggnog Ep in Boner records) is a three piece band from Brooklyn, New York , their music style balance somewhere in doom rock , stoner and experimental grunge . 'Moments in Vacuum' starts with the heaviest parts and end up with experimental melodies quite similar to drone masters from Seattle Earth . 'Magog' a doomy song extra heavy with a b movie opening sample and echo mesmerizing vocals are one of these tracks that you are happy with the dirtiest rough catchy sounds and 'Racking in Dough' could be a smash hit single in any stoner rock radio stations a riff you  stay in your head again and again ! In 'Wheel of the Year' unfold the acoustic guitar dynamics continued with a slow doom riff ,before gets boring band change the tempo to more speedy , 'Nebuchadnezzar' drummer Ryan Quinn  lead up the rhythms with a unique performance , in same case here the vocals are reproduced and average . 'Cydonia' will give you a moments of relaxation after the previous monolithic songs near as Earth 's Hex album .The CD  'Moments in Vacuum' don t have a external big music producer like Billy Anderson ,produced by the Bill O'Sullivan and Justin Karol that's why the band stay and keep the identity and texture of sounds far away from commercial heavy  rock .
'Rhythmic Past' setting the vibe  to melodic elements of Melvins back in Stag Album  moody rhythms and the album have a variety of a songs , with out any doubt grunge independent collectors and fans of Mudhoney , Tad ,Melvins  should interesting for this band but not the mainstream scene , the trio are familiar and close with Psychedoomelic band Starchild , early Mans Ruin bands like Tummler ,Angel Rot ,Sons of Otis and Begotten .So much underground music these doomsters from New York approaching the experimental drones ,Look out listen and vote !
