Review
- Really is
anyone wont pay attention on this futuristic cover artwork made by Tom
Denney ; First i see this artwork reminds me a new modern cross over
bands like Sevendust and Korn .I Decline in any case have influences
from many music genres i will call them modern hard rockers , as they
are from Chicago there are close to mainstream and this album will
not disappoint fans of Alter Bridge or Bad Religion or Velvet Revolver !
Starting with "Time To Shine" its a straight forward punk rock song
simple and with good rhyme, by the way here the song and rhythms leaded
by the singer also the next song "Administration" that added some
background vocals give a little bit of a cross over music style .Songs
like "New Nation" and "Grand Ruin" will remind us the grunge era ,
personally i dig this tunes . Coessentially the first stoner metal riffs
"Your Name in Blood " listening some groovy Sweden's Spiritual Beggars
late period stoner rock , but i wont tag this band as stoner rock
band ,why should we do that ; "Her Darkness" i will notice the excellent
last solo guitar .In this album there are can not exclude a classic
ballad like "Jericho" acoustic and melancholic way more good than the
average will surprises you ,if you ever heard the album from Mark
Lanegan "I will take care of you find this song interesting .Time to
shine CD is an unstoppable 40 minutes of pounding hard rock 3
minute songs , if you don't like to analyze buy it for your car stereo
system .If you are a 70 's retro rock junkie you will suffer !
- I Decline
crass the surface with directness and emotional lyrics keep the
structured of music simple ,you wont need more than one listening to
understood , you will like and maybe love it .
