- Review
- These interesting guys from Southampton
start few years ago playing melodic pop rock in the close to
latest releases of Dishwalla and late Q.o.t.s.a (era
vulgaris) focusing in melodic riff's songs and mainstream sounds ,
lately release the CD with the same title changing direction
with more heavy and groovy sound s influenced by some other heavy
rock bands that they supported like Firebird (UK) and Brant Bjork and
the Bros and Nebula ! . .The Blue Screen Of Death ep start with (Salami
Soldier) an instrumental rhythm song with distorted guitar solo on
the riff not impressed me otherwise with the follow up (Learn to Live) a
song with many changes crunchy guitars fat bass fills the
background a track with a lot of lyrical meaning
also. (Shove It ) goes again instrumental , excellent drums here but
nothing special this track .(Omar) are more the melodic track in
this cd , finally (Same Old) is best moment of this ep with great rhythm
lines start slowly and transition to more groovy . I notice from
listening that the best track are the two with lyrics . The band
could play more heavy but instead of that its more recommended to
keep this fine melodies .
