Review

With this  name XII Boar  (12) boar in roman numeric these Uk  heavy rockers come with the first 4 track EP released at 23 January 2011 , they have very tight sound inspired by mostly  American sludge metal  and hardcore bands like Corrosion Of Conformity , Crowbar and Clutch. The first  track Train Wreck  a speed sludge attack change to the riff with guitar solos and  goes  even slower like the next track  Beg, Borrow, Steal remind us some of C.O.C  Blind album at early 90's period ,then come the track Sludge a stoner metal song that is close to bands like The Glasspack and Argonaut and the ending track S.K.O.L ,with  pounding drums and changing  the music tempos from slow to speed we keep our  attention at high .The band line up are David Wilbraham (Drums) ,Adam Thomas (Bass & Backing Vocals) and Tommy Hardrocks (Guitar & Vocals) .I don t impressed from the vocals but we all know that comes after the music in stoner metal , hope we have a full album soon from these British guys  with  more songs  because the energy that they have is rare .Sure they kick ass the boar if  released a full cd and will shaking up the dust at the  stoner metal scene .Recommended to all Crowbar and C.O.C fans .
